New York Times online access no longer free from March 28

The Kindle New York Times

When I was living in New York, I loved to get the daily digest from the New York Times in my email inbox. I didn’t have time to flip through the whole paper end to end like I used to do in quieter times of my life. But I did enjoy reading the news snippets that the newspaper would send to me every morning.

Unfortunately, online access to that illustrious newspaper will no longer be free in a week’s time. Print subscriptions are falling and quality content does have to be paid for. Subscriptions start at $15 per four week period and will kick in on March 28 – this is not an April fool’s joke!
