Looking forward to the Boeing 787 Dreamliner

The Boeing 787 Dreamliner has finally received FAA certification meaning it’s one step closer to taking to the skies. It’s the most hotly anticipated plane since the A380, particularly since it’s been plagued with delays, pushing the intended launch date of May 2008 back to a yet to be defined date.

So what do passengers have to look forward to? It’s more environmentally friendly and fuel efficient, so the airlines will love it. But what the passenger really cares about is the flying experience and the Dreamliner promises some upgrades there too, including larger, specially tinted windows, larger bins so we can finally fit in all our cabin luggage, better toilets and more headroom. Unfortunately, no one has said anything about more leg room.

Looking forward to the Boeing 787 Dreamliner
