Penne Cole's thoughts on food, travel and more
I was lucky enough to have an end of year celebration / budget setting for the new year offsite meeting in Sydney’s Chowder Bay last Friday. It was a great meeting, as these things go, with the morning dedicated to the boring stuff, and then a super long lunch then started at one, and went till late.
The venue was not so far from my apartment, so I decided to hike back through the bush to get home. I’d never been on the trail before, I’m ashamed to say. The trail is just minutes from my home, and I never even knew it was there. On the way back, I caught the beautiful twilight over Sydney Harbour. This is why I’ve chosen to make Sydney my home.

The easiest way to get here by public transport is to take the 244 bus from Wynyard to Chowder Bay. Once there, Google Maps is your best friend and the trail is well marked.
