Morning

Dawn @ Sydney airport

Early morning starts are the worst. My partner always complains whenever he has one. And with shifts starting as early as 5.30 a.m., it can’t be easy. I know how he feels, having had to wake up at 5.45 a.m. to catch a 7 a.m. flight every week since April. Sometimes, when we both have early starts, I have to get up even earlier to walk Leo before I start my day. At that hour, it’s so cold that Leo generates steam when he does his business… but I digress.

Early morning starts are the worst. But sometimes, on very rare occasions, nature gives you a magical start to the day that makes it all worth it.

This post was inspired by the Weekly Photo Challenge: Morning.
