Wishing for blue skies

Hello blue skies. How are you? I’ve been wondering if after all these years you’d like to meet.

It’s been two endless weeks of grey skies and constant rain. The sun has disappeared behind dense banks of clouds and I’m living in perpetual murkiness and damp. It feels like someone has forgotten to fix that dripping faucet and now the whole world is awash.

Sydney, what happened to you? You used to be so cool. You used to have endless blue sky days and perfect beach weather. If I wanted to live in weather like this all the time, I’d move to Melbourne. Sorry, cheap dig :p

Seriously though, I’m heartily sick of this weather and I really wish the clouds would clear and the sun would come back.

Bummer! But it’s bound to change soon!! Just remember the days of sweltering heat and feel better 😊

Definitely prefer this temperature to the mugginess of 40c days!

Nice post! Try moving to the UK in winter from Summer in Aus. 😦 hopefully I’ll see some blue again one day….probably back in Aus.

lol I was tossing up between comparing to Melbourne or London. Neither climate appeals!

Sorry to hear it has been so great there! But I’ve always thought Sydney was much warmer than Melbourne! It has been pretty warm here so far this autumn and I am not complaining. But, nights are a bit cooler 😊

Sydney is definitely warmer than Melbourne. I spent most of the year shuttling between the two cities last year so I should know!

Sunshine is even more appreciated after gloomy/cloudy weather, so hopefully you’ll be able to enjoy some sunshine soon.

Definitely appreciated it when my wish came true and the sun reappeared just in time for the weekend!
